Many thanks to all that have helped in the past with events in / near The Woodlands.
I’ve been working on a new sign-up website, and the 10 for Texas, which is coming up very quickly, on Saturday, 7th of October, is the first to use this new approach to signing up.
The 10 for Texas is a great event for both new and old ‘hands’, as it is a relatively short event (10 miles), being a running event, there’s a bit more time for people to get their updates made and acknowledged.
There will be the now usual and popular pre-event gathering at the local Wendy’s.
Email will be used primarily for updates, so please, when you register, use an email that you normally monitor.
Also, the phone number that you register with - please, make it be one that you’ll use during the event, as I will use that to allow the use of the Traccar app on your smartphone, to provide location tracking, so that we’ll know where you are, should the need arise.
The website to visit is still: https://www.woodlands-event-comms.info and then click on the ‘10 for Texas’ event. At the bottom of that page, there is a link that takes you to the registration page.
If you like, you can google ‘woodlands event comms’ and you’ll find it very quickly.
I know the registration page isn’t perfect as yet, but, please stick with it until you see, at the bottom of the web page, the green ‘thank you’ message.
Even if you are unable to help this time around, there may be others that can, so, please, spread the word regarding this event!
