It’s a new year, the Houston Marathon is completed, and so the yearly cycle begins again…
In The Woodlands area, there are 3 events coming up quickly: one each in March, April and May, for which volunteers are welcome and needed!
Please visit http://www.woodlands-event-comms.info for details on each of the events, and, the ability to register to assist, if you so choose.
I’m told that these events are well run, great for first-time volunteers and experienced hands alike, so, please, consider yourself welcome to help!
Events are as follows: (all of these are on Saturdays)
The Woodlands Marathon (and half) - SAG and Aid station assignments - March 4th
Ironman Texas - SAG (probably) and Aid station assignments - April 22nd
Woodforest Bank TRI (bike course only, it’s a ‘sprint’ so it’s short) fixed-location course monitor assignments - May 6th
Thank you for considering and spreading the word, but even more-so for signing up to help!
Best regards,
Peter Belbin KE5STL

Hi Peter,
I’ll work aid/monitor station stations for the Ironman and the Woodforest Tri. Early release would be appreciated if possible but I’m flexible if needed.

Hey there John,
I appreciate your willingness to help!
But, I am not sure which of the three events below that you’re referring to.
PLEASE:
Use the http://www.woodlands-event-comms.info website, and supply your registration details, and reply to the first email, to confirm that your email address is good.
Sign up to help on as many as you’re available to help!
Best regards,
Peter
My bad.
The date for the Ironman is in fact, Saturday, the 22nd of April.
Regards,
Peter
Howdy Peter,
I would hope by now that you’d know that I’m in for all events in The Woodlands. I’ll register soon. Still dealing with my mother passing away Friday.
