For anyone outside ARES South Texas District 14, we invite you to Winlink ‘Forms’ (templates) data import and usage training tonight. This training covers the import of data into Winlink RMS Express templates as will be used by D14 during this weekend’s (May 30) Red Cross/ARES EMCOMM drill.Other drill topics may be discussed.
Winlink forms data import and message handling training as applicable to the upcoming American Red Cross/ARES EMCOMM drill on May 30th.
Join us for a hands-on training. We will demonstrate the data import and message handling with a sample American Red Cross data file simulating traffic to be passed during a disaster. Once we have the sample data imported into a Winlink ARC message, modified with the sender details, we will practice sending it via Peer to Peer to N5WAJ and also via the standard Winlink RMS gateway to STXHRSDOC.
If needed, please update your Winlink templates as you sign into RMS Express to have the most recent version available.
