K5SOC-10 on 145.070 is now operational on Vara FM v3.0.6 as well as Winlink Packet. We’re using a SignaLink at the moment so we’re only operating 1200. Hope to get a DRA45 soon to get us up to 9600. Anyway, give it a spin. But as N5TW says, “Strap in!”
Thanks, John. I tried it this morning and found it working.

Very cool!

35K Bytes per minute over a long path with VARA FM Narrow mode to the SOC. Not too shabby. (Used my N5TW-12 antenna)

John,
I’m seeing two different freqs listed for K5SOC-10.
U show 145.070 and it looks like Tom was on 145.610.
I have been unsuccessful on both so far.
What am I missing?

Same thing here, I tried them both and nothing but I did try N5TRS-11 at 145.090 and it worked perfectly with Vara.

OK, I found K5SOC-10 on 145.070. Tremendous signal in west Travis County near Bee Cave.
Thanks to everyone involved. I now have a second RMS to use on VHF.

Sorry for the confusion – I didn’t load his station from the list – just entered the call and SSID – it was really on 145.070…

OK Tom. I found them. Thanks.

FWIW, SOC-10 does not appear on my Channel Selector list that shows everything out to 100 miles from Tomball.
