Lee is currently certified as a COML, COMT, AUXC, ITSL, RADO and is an instructor for the COMU component of emergency services in Texas. Lee also maintains his Texas EMT certification as well as National Certification through NREMT.

Lee is Married to his most wonderful XYL, Nicole, has a Daughter, Isabella, currently a Department Head at Boston College, a son, Mark, and grandson, Keith, both of whom are TxDOT Fleet Services employees. Lee and Nicole host a Zoo of 9 dogs, 6 chickens and a bunch of birds, squirrels, racoons, wild cats and occasionally, the stray horse that wanders into their property.

Lee looks forward to continuing the good work of the Northwest Unit to strive to be the best trained and capable resource in the upper Gulf Coast area.

This appointment was effective December 28, 2025.

Regards to all,
