QUADRANTS IN DISTRICT 7?

Hi there,
How do we determine what quadrant we are in for District 7? In the last net, we were asked to check-in by quadrant. Thanks and great job! 73 Ruth KJ5ERT

Hi Ruth!

The only District that has Quadrants is D14. District 7 is just that, District 7.. No quadrants…

We check in by DISTRICT, as well as WEST TEXAS and NORTH TEXAS.

Lately, D7 has been divided up as well.
The NC controls how they will check in.

Let’s let D7 answer this question.

How do I determine what District I am in?

Ed Stevens

Montgomery county is in District 1 according to the map

https://www.stxares.org/vault_area/vault_gateway/site_gateway/vault_map.php

This will detail Sections and Districts as well as who to contact about ARES issues locally.

Have a good one

Let the net control make the decision how he/she wants to run the net. Period! We don’t need people who don’t have any experience running this net trying to decide how it should be run.
