[stxares] KPC+ Modem

Upon closer examination, I found that the converter cable on my KPC3 is from RT Systems. I searched the RT System website and was unable to find it at this time. It has an FTDI chip within the USB connector.

I found one similar on amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/FT232RL-Converter-Serial-Programming-HEIDENHAIN/dp/B0DD4FCSGT/ref=sr_1_3?crid=J6KXHKCV47LO&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.u_qPIKB_s2uacIwiNeEQv_gYp2SMbWP5vzEm5lE-C3H0zr7us9XfsVfp4cIHTWaSqjs83oqguFI7gqno_7fANAmQsI14hmmmhMguBXgWrvB3VdfPyCGm3hlfoTiXGc_OprEHzDpnWH7Jd10t3UGvTCir-z20iAEdQgd5zawAHkwQPN-Z1O1KRS8Re5emzk4hc6kCnC15bfiIFPTf-HkWxnLUCK2uOxB5fKHpJuZ9ovs.EzNO_IK4fJx20ZQCc7Yg-1bjADNywHtjLP3xBcYSqMs&dib_tag=se&keywords=FTDI%2BFT232RL%2BCHIP%2BUSB%2BTO%2BD-SUB%2B25%2BPIN%2BDB25%2BMALE%2BADAPTER%2BRS232%2BSERIAL%2BCOMMUNICATION%2BCABLE&qid=1751747345&sprefix=ftdi%2Bft232rl%2Bchip%2Busb%2Bto%2Bd-sub%2B25%2Bpin%2Bdb25%2Bmale%2Badapter%2Brs232%2Bserial%2Bcommunication%2Bcable%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-3&th=1

Google would not let me attach the driver. It is available on RT Systems website.
Name: USBComDrivers21.exe

RT Systems provides excellent support. You could try calling on Monday. Another alternative is HamMadeParts.com

Maybe this will help.
