Thanks, David.

Humm, Winlink reports message received by W0MAC 40M. I guess I’ll have to remember to ask for receipt like I did last time. I’m glad to find this out now rather than during a real event.

Went to winlink.org, signed in, clicked on left side
US Amateur Radio Message Viewer, center of page click button open viewer in separate window, and used sender as search and see your message Went through on 7.102 MHz.
You can also use that crazy message id number to find status. Just don’t show contents of 3rd party messages every where.

I never got the checkin during the net. Take it up with the Winlink team.

Herbert: Thanks! I went to winlink.org and discovered I had mis-typed the address…operator error!

David: It’s my understanding that digital check-ins are also allowed before the 3873 voice net for those of us who aren’t always available during the time of voice net. Is there a time limit for digi?

It looks like the message got sent to TXRES-HF@winlink.org instead of TXARES-HF. If that address does not exist he should have got a bounce back message from Winlink.org.

YEP! Operator Error - me… :frowning: I was on a tight schedule Monday night and should have checked message more carefully.

There is another issue not attributable to operator error. I received two checkins from KD5URB and N5APC that had timestamps during the net on Monday. However, I received them Wednesday morning. If you don’t receive an acknowledgement from me by Tuesday afternoon, please send the Winlink message directly to me via kb5pgy@gmail.com. I am trying to determine if there is an issue with Winlink since we use it heavily for ARES work.
