[stxares] Winlink for Beginners Training (virtual) Time: Jul 28, 2020 07:00 PM Central Time

There are several hams in the Houston area running Winlink on Linux; this training covers the Winlink RMS Express software running on Windows.

I am sure one of the Linux - Winlink users will reply to this thread.

73,

How about on a MAC?
Lloyd

Would love to get Winlink working on a Linux platform (RPi, specifically). If you know how, I’m all ears.

73,

Please refer to the following link for installing Winlink on Mac and Linux. This is posted on the Winlink website:

For anyone wishing to use Winlink Express on Mac or Linux:

I’m pleased to announce that newer versions of Wine (4.19 and above) now work flawlessly with Winlink Express forms and templates! This means that Winlink Express (RMS Express) is fully functional on Mac and Linux, so ling as you are using a recent version of Wine.
